Trading boost time in Einherjar!

Tokyo, Japan, October 24, 2012 - A new in-game event has just been impletemented to boost trading activities in Einherjar - The Viking's Blood, a browser-based game developed by Appirits from 24 to 31 October (SGT or GMT+8).
During the above-said period, all of the following will be applied for exchanging activities at the market.

- Silver – gold exchanging rate increased
- Food price reduced by 50%
- Fee of a successful purchase decreased from 5% to 2%
- Limit of items for exhibiting increased from 7 to 10
- All prices of items exhibited at Edinburgh market cut by 50%

And there is also an update for limit of cap price at the market. From now players can set their exhibiting price at a maximum of 9999999 coins.

Great fun with Halloween time in Einherjar!

Tokyo, Japan – 17 October 2012 – Appirits, the game developer of Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood, has just announced a brand-new Halloween event which based on in-game collecting and exchanging activities for their players from 17 to 31 October 2012 (SGT or GMT+8).

There will be some new materials (HAP, PY, HALLO, and WEEN) created for this unique event during the above-said period. Players are required to collect all those parts which constitute the phrase “HAPPY HALLOWEEN” to produce 1 Halloween Treat, then use it to produce items at a newly-crealted tab called Halloween of the Production section.
Those Halloween letters will be collectible in expeditionary battles at several dots of all maps during the event period and cannot be traded at the market.
Appirits hopes players will make use of their Halloween event to get valuable items for developing their Viking territories and wishes Einherjar community a merry Halloween.

Fighting for Sacred Gifts in Einherjar

Tokyo, Japan – 17 October 2012 – Appirits, the Japanese developer of Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood has just announced a new series of sub-quests to help their players obtain necessary materials for crafting crystals from 17 to 31 October (SGT or GMT+8).
During the event period, players can go to the bar in Hedeby city to accept quests newly provided by the NPC Brunhilde with the following details:
1/ Defeat Ogre Devil x50 -> Rewards: Brynhildr Massive x1, Gerhilde Massive x1
2/ Defeat Juton x50 -> Rewards: Ortlinde Massive x1, Waltraute Massive x1
3/ Defeat Muspell x50 -> Rewards: Schwerlelte Massive x1, Helmwige Massive x1
4/ Defeat Baphomet x30 -> Rewards: Siegrune Massive x1, Thor Massive x1
5/ Defeat Ymir x30 -> Rewards: Rossweisse Massive x1, Odin Massive x1
6/ Defeat Gargoyle x30 -> Rewards: Grimgerde Massive x1, Freya Massive x1
Those quests above are sub-quests, i.e. players can complete then do it again as much as they can. And please note that they will be expired after 31 October.
Combining those rewards with the Production & Upgrade event which was announced the previous week on Einherjar’s official website will surely bring players more chance to craft precious crystals for training their Viking fighters.

In order to reward their newcomers and veterans for supporting the game, Appirits will run a gifting campaign from 10 to 31 October 2012 (SGT or GMT+8).

The very first PvP Tournament starts now in Einherjar!

Dear players,

As we have announced last month, our first PvP Tournament will start in October for all players who have registered at the event’s forum topic. And now, it is the time to open our long-awaited contest with details as below.


*Each participant fights against every other particpant once in their table. 2 top-ranked competitors will move to the next rounds.

Instruction:
1/ Players contact with each other by all means to freely arrange their battle time by the required date (GMT+8).
2/ For each battle, participants are required to take 2 screenshots (one shows the battle start screen with name of the opposing player and all units, and the other shows the result screen). Then the winner of each battle needs to post those 2 screenshots before the required date on forum topics which will be opened by the admin. (We will use these to cross-check with the system.)

*The specific dates will be announced later.

Prizes:
- The Champion: 400000 Gold + 500 Power + 5 Adaman Ore + 5 God Ore + 5 Devil Stone
- The Runner-up: 300000 Gold + 400 Power + 3 Adaman Ore + 3 God Ore + 3 Devil Stone
- Contestants in Semi Finals: 200000 Gold + 200 Power + 2 Adaman Ore + 2 God Ore + 2 Devil Stone

Tribute to Leif Erikson in the world of Einherjar

Tokyo, Japan – 3 October 2012 – Appirits, the Japanese developer of a Norse-themed web game Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood has just announced their latest in-game event from 3 to 17 October 2012 (SGT or GMT+8) to honor Leif Erikson, the Norse explorer who brought the first Europeans known to have set foot in North America (excluding Greenland), nearly 500 years before Christopher Columbus. 





During the event, there will a brand-new Leif Erikson’s set of items created only for this event with the following effects:

-          Leif Erikson's Shield (+5 def in battle)
-          Leif Erikson's Sword (+5 str in battle)
-          Leif Erikson's Emblem (+5 int in battle)

These items can be used in battles only and will not be traded at the market.

But the game developer has emphasized that players should not use them during this period because three players with the most Leif Erikson sets (1 Shield + 1 Sword + 1 Emblem) will be rewarded as below.

-          1st place: Old Spear + 3 Hel Stone
-          2nd place: Old Axe + 2 Hel Stone
-          3rd place: Old Rapier + 1 Hel Stone
-          Other participants: 20000 gold

Please note that players must collect at least 3 Leif Erikson sets to be qualified. The game system will automatically track players’ logs to determine winners and distribute prizes on Wednesday 17 October 2012.

Besides, experience and drop rates in expeditionary battles will be tripled only on 9 October 2012!

Updates for Hawkeye and Guild News in Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood

Tokyo, Japan – 3 October 2012 – After collecting players’ comments about whether archer units can use daggers on battlefield in Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood, the Japanese game’s developer Appirits has decided to realize this long-awaited feature on 3 October 2012 (SGT or GMT+8).



However, only Hawkeye units can have this unique ability because these are elite warriors. The new weapon skill will certainly give Hawkeye units a big advantage in battles, especially when fighting against enemies with Bow Avoid skills. Flexibly interchanging bow and melee weapon will help players gain victory more easily. Therefore, Appirits does believe all players will welcome this useful update.

In addition to the dagger update, they also reactivate the old in-game guild chat tab and call it “Guild News” to help guild members be updated of their internal news easily. But this time only guild masters can use it to make in-guild announcements and guild members may use the sidebar chat to communicate as usual.

And last but not least, the weapon max level will be extended to 11.
